The National Enforcement Reports
The 1980 Convention does not have any express provisions dealing with enforcement of orders made under the Convention; however, the need for prompt enforcement of return orders is supported by the objects of the Convention and by the various provisions of the Convention that require Contracting States to secure the prompt return of children and act expeditiously.
